Child | Youth | Teen Programs

At Bazzani Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the mats are a place to learn self-defense and a space to grow in confidence, discipline, and respect. Our youth programs give kids the chance to explore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a safe and supportive setting that keeps learning fun.

Students practice through games, drills, and techniques that match their age and skill level. They begin to understand how to control their bodies, focus their minds, and work with their teammates. Every child is welcomed, whether it’s their very first class or they have years of experience.

The goal is to help young athletes build strength that goes beyond training. With guidance from skilled instructors and encouragement from teammates, kids discover resilience, develop humility, and carry their confidence into daily life.

TESTIMONIAL

As a parent, I can’t say enough about the transformation I’ve seen in my son since he joined the teens class at Bazzani BJJ. He’s always been introverted and it took a lot of encouragement to even get him to try a class. To my surprise, within just a few weeks, he was hooked. Now he wants to attend every single class he can.

The change in him has been incredible. He’s developed a real confidence in himself, not just on the mats but in everyday life. He’s even started going to the gym with his friends outside of class because he wants to get stronger for jiu-jitsu. He’s more outgoing, makes conversation with people easily, and hangs out with friends more outside of practice.

Perhaps the best part for me is that he’s constantly asking to train with me at home. Jiu-jitsu isn’t just an activity anymore; it’s become something that’s reshaping who he is in the best possible way. The coaches here not only teach great technique, but also foster a supportive environment where kids grow in confidence, discipline, and friendship.

I’m truly grateful for the impact Victor and his team have had on my son. It’s been a total transformation.

ALEXANDRA BAZZANI

Coach Alexandra Bazzani is currently a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  She started jiu-jitsu at the young age of nine years old and has competed ever since.  She has a passion for teaching children on and off the mats, as she is currently studying education at a University.  Coach Alexandra enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for the art with her students, whom she has created strong bonds with. After competing from a young age and receiving many hard-earned awards, she continues to do so and has shared her love of competing with her students.

COACH ALEXANDRA’S PHILOSOPHY

“I believe jiu-jitsu should be fun, challenging, and confidence-building for kids. Starting my own journey at nine years old, I know how powerful it can be to grow up on the mats—learning discipline, resilience, and teamwork. My goal is to create a safe, encouraging space where students not only develop strong fundamentals but also discover their own love for the art. Whether through games, drills, or competition, I want every child to feel supported and excited to learn.”
