BUILT FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT

Law enforcement encounters don't happen under perfect conditions.

The Law Enforcement Jiu-Jitsu Class gives officers a dedicated environment to develop grappling skills against realistic resistance while training alongside people who understand the physical and professional demands of the job.

Rather than simply memorizing techniques, students have the opportunity to consistently practice movement, positioning, control, escapes, and decision-making under pressure.

The goal is simple: become more comfortable, capable, and composed when physical control is required.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • CONTROL

Develop stronger positional control and learn how leverage, pressure, and body positioning can help manage physical encounters.

  • MOVEMENT

Improve balance, base, movement, and the ability to recover position when an encounter becomes unpredictable.

  • ESCAPES & RECOVERY

Practice working safely from disadvantageous positions and returning to a position of greater control.

  • TAKEDOWNS & STAND-UP

Build confidence working from the feet and transitioning safely between standing and ground positions.

  • TRAINING UNDER RESISTANCE

Apply techniques against a resisting training partner so skills are developed through repetition rather than theory alone.

  • COMPOSURE

Learn to make better technical decisions while tired, uncomfortable, or under physical pressure.

HOW THE CLASS WORKS

One focused hour. Every Thursday.
The law enforcement program meets Thursday evenings from 8:00–9:00 PM and is reserved specifically for law enforcement personnel. Each session is designed to combine technical instruction with hands-on practice.

This progression allows officers to do more than simply learn a technique—they repeatedly practice recognizing problems and solving them under pressure.

TECHNIQUE

The coach introduces and breaks down a specific position, movement, or skill.

DRILLING

Students practice the technique through structured repetition with a training partner.

POSITIONAL TRAINING

Resistance is gradually introduced so students can learn to apply the technique against someone who is actively responding.

LIVE TRAINING

Where appropriate, students put the skills together through controlled live grappling and situational rounds.

This program ensures you’re not just learning techniques—you’re learning how to apply them under pressure.
